The Crème De La Clem fitness facility was designed to meet the needs of everyone, from weightlifters working on increasing their ability and muscle tone to those simply looking to start their fitness journey. For us, this is more than just about a training program. We genuinely want to help you create lasting lifestyle changes and help you succeed on your health journey. MEET OUR TRAINER
CLEMENCE AHIABLE
Hi! I’m Clemence Ahiable, founder of Crème de la Clem Fitness.
I was born and raised in Ghana. I migrated with my family to the United States in 1999. As a young child, I have always enjoyed sports but my family put education above sports. I was not strong academically but I did my best to make sure I had good enough grades to stay on the sports teams. I enjoyed track because I had a natural speed which helped in other sports such as basketball and soccer. I quickly learned that I was blessed with great athleticism but I lacked coordination. This was something I had to work on to get to where I am today.
Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard. Unfortunately, I had to learn the hard way. After high school I picked up some bad habits that got me out of shape. I was no longer as disciplined as I once was and that had to change.
The game changer for me was when I ruptured my achilles in 2015. This taught me not to take anything for granted when it comes to taking care of your body. After completing physical therapy I still felt like there was more work to be done but I didn’t know where to begin. Fortunately for me I got invited to a Personal Trainer Certification program by a good friend and through this, I was able to learn about the proper mechanics and movements of the body, along with nutrition and ect. At this moment I found my true passion and purpose in life. My Goal was to become the best version of myself as I teach others to do the same. We all have to start from somewhere so no matter where you are there’s always room for improvement day in and day out.
